September 17, 2026: Amit Mitra to head finance portfolio of ONGC Videsh Limited. The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended his name for appointment as Director (Finance) of ONGC Videsh on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director and Executive Assistant to the CMD of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL)

Mitra has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of ONGC Videsh from a list of 12 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting no. 78/2026, held on September 15.
