October 31, 2026: NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has announced the commercial operation of an additional 95.6 MW of solar capacity at the Kalasar Solar Energy Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, taking the group's total installed capacity to 11,424.29 MW.

The newly commissioned capacity represents the fifth part of the Kalasar Solar Energy Project, which forms part of the 650 MW solar component under the 500 MW Round-the-Clock (RTC) Project of Renewable Energy Management Centre Limited (REMCL). The project is being implemented through NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited
