October 27, 2026: Indian Oil Corporation Limited has informed the stock exchanges about a change in its Corporate Identification Number (CIN).
The Company’s CIN has been changed from L23201MH1959GOI011388 to L19201MH1959GOI011388.
The change is consequent upon the alteration of the Objects Clause of the Memorandum of Association (MoA) and is in accordance with the National Industrial Classification (NIC) Code 2008. The principal industrial activity of the Company continues to be refining, transportation, marketing and distribution of petroleum products and other allied energy businesses. The revision in CIN is on account of the re-categorisation of the principal industrial activity from code 23201 under the erstwhile NIC 1998 to code 19201 under NIC 2008.
