August 19, 2026: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) on Tuesday informed the stock exchanges that its Board of Directors has approved a fundraising plan of up to ₹50 billion through the issuance of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs).
Key Highlights of the Board Decision
The Board has authorised the company to raise funds by issuing secured or unsecured redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures.
The total amount will not exceed ₹50 billion.
The NCDs can be issued in one or more series/tranches, with a maximum of 10 tranches.
The entire fundraising must be completed within one year from the date of the Board approval.
Specific terms of allotment, coupon rate, tenure and other details for each series will be decided later and intimated to the exchanges at the time of issue
